Craft Fairs

Hi Everyone,
I love this time of year. There are festivals, bluegrass groups, and craft fairs all over the ozarks. My hubby, my sister and I went to the War Eagle craft Fair in Arkansas yesterday. The colors are changing and it was so beautiful as we drove about an hour through southern Missouri to get there from where we live. We bought the cutest snowman made out of a large gourd. He has on glasses. When you open a little door on the front of him there is a Christmas scene with snow inside. A bulb in the back lights him up. He is so cute. People make things out of everything, it's amazing. We ended the nice day at the FFA Chili feed with homemade ice cream, at our grandsons school. It was a very fun day, with good food.

My New Blog!

Hi, I'm so excited, I finally got my new blog done
with the help of my very sweet friend, Deb Ullrick.
Thank you so much, Deb, It would have taken me
forever to get this done without your help. :) This
has been a good week. My new book, The Christmas
Miracle in the 4-1, Christmas In The Country, is
available for pre-order and will be available in
book stores and online, September 1st. There are
four stories in this book. Mine, Jeanie Smith Cash,
Lena Nelson Dooley's, Jean Kincaid's, and Jeri Odell's.
It's listed here on my blog if you'd like to read
a little about it and see the cover. :)

The Christmas Miracle
By Jeanie Smith Cash
Is one of four stories in this 4-1,
Christmas Love At Lake Tahoe
Below is a short excerpt from my story
The Christmas Miracle
Bethany Stillman RN is only interested
in her career until she meets Cole Beckman,
paramedic, on the flight to her grandparents
ski lodge in the Lake Tahoe area. Bethany
doesn’t recognize Cole, when she does she
won’t want anything to do with him. Cole has
a secret that could destroy their relationship.
As a teenager, Cole was responsible for the
accident that crippled Bethany’s grandfather,
putting him in a wheelchair. Will the Christmas
season bring forgiveness from Bethany and her
family, and allow the young couple to have a
future together?
